Everlasting Gospel: God is Love
There are many in this world who believe the Ten Commandments written upon two tablets of stones and given to the children of Israel under the Old Covenant is the exact same law, which Jesus gave to his disciples.
Jesus was to have His last supper with His disciples whom He loved. Jesus knew His hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father.
After supper Jesus washes the feet of His disciples and tells them someone among them would betray him. The disciples looked at one another, and are confused, and want to know who would betray Jesus.
John 13:26; Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a (piece of bread) sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the (piece of bread) sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
Judas Iscariot after receiving the piece of bread went immediately out: and it was night.
John 13:34, 35; A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
1 Thessalonians 4:9; But (concerning) as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
This commandment which Jesus gave to His disciples is not a new commandment; but to the disciples it is; because they were taught to believe in the Ten Commandments which God gave to Moses to give to the children of Israel.
1 John 4:7, 8; Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Many find it difficult to understand “God is Love.”
They are not able to understand the meaning of the word “love.” They believe if you should ask a thousand individuals to define the word “love” there would be a thousand different answers.
We should understand there is a difference between the carnal mind; which is of the flesh and the spiritual mind, which is of God. One is carnal and the other is spiritual. One is death the other is life. One is truth the other is a lie. One is of God the other is of Satan the devil.
We must also understand – spiritual things are discerned spiritually. The Holy Spirit is poured out upon all flesh to help mankind to understand the things which are spiritual.
Only in the carnal mind, of the flesh will you find individuals trying to mix oil with water, darkness with light, life and death, truth with lies. There are thousands of religious organizations in this world with their own doctrines who believe they will enter heaven because they have the truth.
It is truly sad – millions in this world believe God said – to attend church once every week, pay tithes and offerings and keep the Ten Commandments and you shall have everlasting life.
God is love. This is not something which is of this world – it is of heaven. It is the same -yesterday, today and forever. This is spiritual. Yes! God and love is exactly the same. It cannot be separated; divided nor destroyed. It is forever, everlasting, for all eternity.
Millions – living in the carnal mind, of the flesh have been led to believe in the doctrines of men and women who have been led by Satan the devil. They are not able to see the light while remaining in darkness. They are not able to hear and understand the truth while living in the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life; of this world, of Satan the devil.
Conclusion
- God is a Law unto Himself; the Law of God is the Law of Love.
- God is love: joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faithful, meekness, temperance. Yes! We witness God – love in those who love us and they witness God – love in us who love them. This is a righteous law; against such there is no wrong.
- God is not the Ten Commandments written on two tablets of stones.
- God is not the Ten Commandments which was given to the children of Israel living in the carnal mind, of the flesh, of this world, of Satan the devil.
- God is not the Ten Commandments, the law of sin and death.
- God is not the Ten Commandments which could not save mankind from their sins.
- No! God is not the Ten Commandments.
- God is love and the Ten Commandments is not God.
- The Ten Commandments is not the exact same law of God, the law of love.
